Last night my wonderful neighbor, treated me to a pedicure to welcome spring! It was a LONG winter, and it showed on my poor feet. Full of layers and layers of nasty dead skin and ugly nails. It's been SO nice the past week. I'm talking in the 80s. We were talking about how it went straight from winter to summer. I'm assuming I jinxed it because the day I said that, and decided or get my toesies done, it started to SNOW.
Are you kidding me?! So of course, I had to come home and turn the heater on. It's freezing! I keep thinking "is this real life?" I guess it is. So over the cold, which is so weird, because I hate summer. I LOVE snow, and cold and everything about winter. I think being trapped in a house with a toddler changed that about me.
Archer has been getting so used to "gogogo-ing" every day, that this temper tantrum Mother Nature decided to unload on us has really thrown him. He went to grab his sandals, and jacket today, so we could go play. I went to grab his shoes, because I'm like sandals, really kid? But I failed. At least he was good with wearing a jacket.
We froze our buns off swinging and going for a short walk. We found an egg, poor baby bird, I hope he doesn't freeze to death! We took pictures of course, and found that my favorite tree behind my house is finally starting to turn green. Please spring, please come back!
