Eyyy ooo

So here I am. Watching my Archer run around, completely ignoring everything I say to him. Why? Because he can. He is in this rut where he wants nothing to do with anyone. When I call his name he will seriously just look at me like "what" and then look away. Grrr.... He's worse than me as a teenager. And he's just ripe ol' age of 15 months. What is the future going to hold?

Well, all I know is my baby is growing up. Growing up, and growing fast. I wish I could freeze time. I swear all I talk about is Archer. But really, what else is there? He is my whole world. He may only come get me when he's hungry, or needs a diaper change, but he's still my baby. I love that little creature.

Callan and I are doing good. We love the east coast. It's beautiful, and very diverse in the people and cultures that are here. There are many different ethnicities here. And I like that. Being raised in Utah, you really only grow up with white people. So it's been a learning experience that I love, and enjoy being apart of.

Come see us, we love visitors.

Until next time....

Here we are!

Well we have been in Maryland for about a month. We LOVE it! It is such a beautiful place, and the weather was meant for me. I dont understand the whole "Its so humid here" thing. Because its not? I mean TexAss was hot, humid and pure hell. But here its normal temps, and 90% humidity and it feels amazing! I dunno. But we love it here.

There are so many trees, the whole state is basically a forest. It makes me feel claustrophobic. But hey, the trees are beautiful! I can NOT wait till Autumn! Its going to be amazing!

Well, life has been pretty normal. A normal family (haha) with a stay at home mommy, a baby, a dog, and a hubby who brings home the bacon. I feel like I am pretty boring Haha

We have been to do a few things since we have been here. We went to DC over Labor Day weekend and visited the DC zoo, and the Holocaust museum. It was a fun day! And super busy. The cool thing is, everything is free! But seriously, there is so much to do. There is NO way you could ever do it all! The Washington Monument was being worked on, so we couldn't get very close. But we still got a ton of fun pictures, and made a few memories. We cant wait to go back!

We also went to the beach, which is about 18 miles from us. It is a gorgeous beach right before the Bay bridge that takes you over to Delaware. Which bytheway costs 6$ to go across the bridge. Toll roads are a pain. Anyways, we went to the beach and the water is so warm! There were so many people swimming and enjoying the beautiful day and the crashing waves. I cant wait to go back when Archer gets over his fear of water.

Other than that, we have pretty much just getting used to life here in Maryland. We are finally getting on a regular schedule and making this house our home.

We cant wait to start making more memories!

Until our next adventure.....

More pictures and such and such

Hello loves. So here are the pictures I promised! A few from Archers cowboy party.

Speaking of Archer, heres what is going on with the little sir.

One year old...

Weight: 26 lbs

Height: I totally spaced.... but I know its in the 75% ile

Hes walking up a storm, and talking.
He has 4-almost 5 teeth.
He likes to say "hi" and wave to everyone, and say "byebye"
He HATES baths. Like he really really hates them and screams bloody murder every time he has one.
He says "YA?" or "WHAT?" Whenever you say "Archer?"
He loves to laugh
He loves anything with music and singing so he can dance
He loves babies, and other little kids....uh oh....
He can also WHISTLE! Which is so weird amiright?! I have never heard of a one year old whistling.

I pretty much have the best kid ever!!!! I might be a little biased...

Well we are at my mums house, just hanging out for a couple of weeks before we head to DC. Callan misses us, but the moving company should be there with all of our stuff tomorrow, so he should be okay playing XBOX. Haha

Well, not much is going on besides that, I am all old and "parenty" now and nothing really ever changes. Except that it does. I look back and even though it feels like nothing is changing, it is. And its kind of depressing ya know? That we are so caught up in our daily lives, and getting things done, that we dont even realize how much things change, until we look back. I have been trying to live in the moment, and appreciate every second, because every breathe you take is closer to your last, morbid and depressing? Maybe. But also truth. And besides we all know I have a pretty dark personality and a morbid sense of humor. But I like it that way.

 Everybody has a dark side.

Until next time.......

There and back again....

Hello my lovelies. I am back again. Wow-ie I have been awful. I feel like I am a total slacker! Its been a very long time since I last posted. So I will give the quick and simple version of the last few months.

HERE WE GO!

Archer and I wen to visit my family in Utah and had a wonderful birthday party for my little creature. It was a ton of fun! We had a cowboy themed party, and it was at my Grandma Gails house. She has a big beautiful deck, and back yard. So I had spent hours decorating the deck, and it turned out lovely, And then of course... right when it was time to start the party, it started to RAIN! I was so sad, and so upset. I had worked SO dang hard! So all 45 of us smooshed ourselves into my grandmas house.
Regardless of the rain, Archers party was a success.
PICTURES TO COME.....

I can not believe my beautiful boy is 1. Well now almost 13 months. I want to cry. Where has the time gone? I always knew time went by fast, fast, fast. But I didn't realize how quickly it went by until I became a mommy. It went by in the blink of an eye. My baby boy, my tiny, cuddly, flirty baby boy has gone. He is now a walking, gabbing, busy, busy boy. He hates cuddling, and is very independent. He HATES water and therefore he hates his bath! Which makes me secretly happy because then he cuddles with me when we take a bath. Haha Sometimes I look forward to the clingy, teething baby too. Just so I can cuddle and love my boy. If that makes me a bad person, so be it.

Anyways....

We went on a beautiful hike for The 4th of July, and went to Lagoon for our "cousin" party day. And even a RODEO! YEEE HAWWW!
We did so much. I love my family to the stars and back a million times, we always know how to PARTY!

After the party, I headed to Lake Powell, while Archer stayed home (with my momma and grandma) for a week. I got so tan, and I even wake boarded.  My arm actually let me get up on the wake board! I am on my way back ladies and gents. Aubrie is on her way back!  Lake Powell is always fun, and crazy. I love hanging out with my family, even though they drive me insane, I still love them!

Archer and I made it home, and got our home ready and ourselves ready for Callan's graduation from Tech School. Which means that we are headed to MARYLAND!!! Can you believe it?!? The moment we have been waiting for. Our lives our beginning with this first step. Callan signed for our home, yesterday, and is waiting there for Archer and I to join him in a few days. Archer and I are at my mommas.  Mainly because our furniture and household goods don't arrive until Monday, and Archer needs his toys and whatnot, so we came to visit the fam and wait it out until our house is all put together.I am so ansty to start my life, to start decorating and living in our home. I am so excited!
My life is a dream, and is pure perfection.
