Baby Baby Baby OH?!

So... We are PREGNANT!!! And we are so excited!! :) I have never been so excited, nervous, scared, and impatient for a day to get here in my life!! The day I am referring to is August 1st 2012. Which is also my beautiful moms birthday! She doesnt want to be called grandma. So gigi, or nana I think! We were going to wait to tell Callans family and mine but we were just so excited we could wait!! The first person we told was my parents. They were right there, and we were so excited and scared so we had to tell someone! After that we told a few people in Callans family, and a few more in mine. And from there we told everyone else Thanksgiving day, and last night. It was so amazing! I hope people are excited, because WE ARE!!!! We have so many names to pick from!! So if anyone has any to add please feel free! Right now we are hoping for boy, but if we get a baby girl we are more than happy with that as well! I have been pretty nauseous, and so tired! I am growing and will probably have to buy new clothes really soon! I honestly can't even begin to describe this feeling, its surreal! I am so THANKFUL that I am able to have this beautiful experience, because this was something that wasn't supposed to happen. So, we are very happy. AHHH!!! I will probably be posting on my blog a lot more with updates on how life is going, and news on our baby!

Happy Birthday Olivia!

Today was Olivia's 8th birthday!! Callan and I got to come to Arizona and surprise her! I love her to pieces!   So, yesterday was when we arrived, while she was at school she had no idea we were coming so we got to hide a surprise her and be her "early" birthday present. Callan and I tied a string to the front door and had Caleb say "follow the string at the end there is a present!" so Olivia followed the string from the front door throughout the house and down the stairs, and to the couch. We were hiding behind the couch. When she got to the end we popped up and SURPRISE!!! It was so fun! We have been having a lot of fun while we have been here. We have been playing board games and watching movies, hiking, yummy dinners, and just a lot of good quality family time. Last night, we played a game called Balderdash, and it was so FUN! I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time!! My family is hilarious! Today, for Olivia's b-day dinner we went out to her favorite restaurant IHOP. It was a good time, we played a fun game where everyone has a piece of paper and you write a random sentence and pass it to the next person and they draw a picture about the sentence and then they fold the paper so you can only see the picture, then pass it and the write a sentence for your picture, and so on until you have back your own. The thing is it gets really messed up so you may not even know if its your own! HAHA! Easton was laughing so hard he threw up. New game catch phrase? I think so.

HAHA I am so happy we had the opportunity to fly down and visit my family, and get to see olivia on her birthday! We aren't leaving until Monday, so we will have some time to spend with them for a few more days. Tomorrow we are going to see Breaking Dawn, my grandma, my mom, me and Callan.

I'm thankful for my personal heros

In my life I have had many people who have stood by me through the good, the bad the ugly, the beautiful, and still love me even after all that. They deserve to be on my things I'm thankful for list. Boy am I behind! Day 10 today I think, after I list my heros and she-ros I will catch up on my thankful list.
In no particular order....

First. Is my dad Rynn David Nixon, this man is so amazing. He is the opitamy of number one dad. He is a giver. He doesn't ever expect anything in return either. He is the nicest guy too! Ask anyone who knows him to describe him with one word and the first word anyone would speak would be kind. He has given up a lot for his family, and for me. His daughter, and his number one fan. :) I love you daddy!

Second. Is my momma. Tanna Nixon. Oh mom, where do I begin? You are the biggest over achiever I have ever met. And not it a bad way. You want everything to be perfect for everyone and everything even when people don't deserve it you go out of your way to make it perfect. Because that's who you are. You are better than the best of them. The most kind hearted, most beautiful, loving lady that I strive to be like each day. I would consider myself lucky if I one day achieved half the greatness you have. You are my hero. I love you!

Third. My grandparents. Grandpa Terry and grandma Gail. Remind me why you put up with me? I still don't understand.. Only because you will never find 2 better human beings. These 2 people give more than they will ever recieve. That's defiantly a travesty. If I ever become rich and famous I will make sure you get every penny and whatever else you gave away back times 50!!! You 2 are so funny, and always make me laugh! You have let me live in your home, and have accepted me for me. Thank you for always being there! I don't say it or show it enough but I love you guys!

Fourth. My moms brothers and sissy Camille. I love you all so much! Each of you has influenced my life in a way no one else could. I was a HARD kid growing up. Anyone who says I wasn't should be institutionalized. Heck, I probably should have been. Haha anyways, each of these people have been there for me even when others had given up. My auntie Millie was there to talk, not to judge or take sides but to talk and tell me to "buck up little camper" haha I love you camille! And my uncle robbie who has never judged me either. That man is so full of love! My uncle cliff. He is so funny! Haha he always has something to say and always has a
lesson to teach you. These people are so selfless and I love them!

No more numbers....
My husband. Oh how I love this man! I have known him for almost 2 years and he has been there for me. He made me realize there is always beauty to be found everywhere, the silver lining. Even if he has to point it out... He makes me so happy, he puts up with my crazy! Who would have thought! Right? Callan is an amazing person who just loves to love! He loves new challenges and is always pushing me to be a better me. He takes care of me and he likes the same stuff I do!! I am so lucky!

I have few Heros but the people I named are the people who I think should be awarded. I think I will start a campaign so in the dictionary the definition for the word hero says: tanna, Rynn, Gail, Terry, Camille, Robert, cliff and Callan.

Anyways. I have a pretty amazing family. I love them!

Oh!! And tonight I saw the coolest thing! It's called a lunar halo. They are very rare, and the one tonight was one that occurs 4 times on average per year anywhere in the world. So the fact I saw one tonight was something amazing indeed. I will probably never see another one in my life time. Haha

My top ten movies

Alright! I feel I am pretty good judge at if a movie is good or not. I'm just awesome. Haha plus I watch a ton of movies. I should get paid to be a movie critic. But I'm going to put in my opinion the best movies of all time. I should do too 100. Haha... Maybe later....

10. Pride and prejudice
W/ kiera knightly this is a classic. And I love this newest version. It is such a heart warming love story. It never gets old.

9. Finding Neverland
The story of the man who wrote Peter pan. Wow. Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet do a superb job, this story is done so beautifully and I love this movie.

8. Christmas Vacation
Haha one of my favorite Christmas movies, and defiantly has a place in my top 10.

7. Spirited Away
This is in my top 5 favorite animated films. It is an amazing story and just so fun! I love this director! And all his work.

6. Singing in the rain
Ahh! This is a classic and I love it! I enjoy musicals more than almost every other genre of movie and this is one of my favorites. Duh that's why it's on this list.

5.The kings speech
This movie is obviously a good one, not only because I said so but because it won best picture. So good!!

4. Harry potter 1-7
These films are fabulous. I grew up with them,and they were a huge part of my life. They are all equally amazing.

I have to say that I love where I am in my life right now. I love the journey I've taken to get here and I love who I have become. I am so lucky to have such amazing people with me on this journey. These people have helped me become the person I am now. I owe them everything. My first person I would like to talk about is my husband. He is my light in the dark, my anchor, my rock. He gets me through those days where I want to give up. He makes it easier to get through the rainy days. He has helped me explore myself(not in a dirty way ha) and dig deep down to find emotions I didn't even know I had! He is the love of my life. He is the most beautiful man. And I'm happy he's mine.
My second is my good friend Joshua Drew. This other beautiful man in my life can't be described in words. All I have to say is I love him. He is such a kind person. He has such a big heart. He is such a great friend. And I don't know what I did to deserve him. Im just s lucky girl! Josh is so strong. He has lived a life where he has been told no, and it's not okay to be who you are. That it's wrong to be gay. We live in a world where being gay is sinful and wrong. And I could never imagine living like that. The good thing is our world is becoming more and more accepting or the gay community. Because of my friends Josh I have become a gay-rights activist. He has suffered more in his 18 years than most of us will in our life time. He makes me laugh and he deserves to be just as happy as I am. I want him to know i will do anything and everything to help him achieve that.He is a light in my life I hope never goes out.
Emily Adair. This girl has been there for me since 6th grade. She's a lover and and a fighter.
She's someone who goes out there and dances in the rain and doesn't care if she messes up her hair. She lives on the edge. She is so funny! She has helped me come out of my box. She has been through a lot of crap. But regardless of what's happened in her life she doesn't let that get in the way of her happiness. He knows that she will never truly be happy unless she makes herself that way. She is so kind, and loving, and cares for everyone and everything. She would never hurt a fly. She sticks up for the underdog. And is always there for her friends and family, even when they don't deserve her to be. She is always there.
I love this girl. I have no idea where I would be without her.
I feel like I wrote more about my friends than my husband?! Haha but these two amazing individuals deserve to know that they are loved! Regardless of where they are in their lives and the trials they are facing they are loved. Josh, Emily,you are my Heros! Thank you for sticking by me. You have made my life better just by being who you are. I want to return the favor!

It's snowing!! It's the first snowfall of the season! Well,, technically it's not, buy the first one I have seen where the snow is sticking to the ground! Its too late to go play in it now, tomorrow can't come fast enough! I LOVE snow! I love the fall/winter fashions! And I have tons of cold weather clothes. Yay! I'm so excited to take tons of pictures and make this snowy wonderland my own personal runway! Haha that's so cheesy and lame, but fashion is fashion!

This year I think it would be nice to say what your thankful for each day until thanksgiving. I missed yesterday. So I guess there will be 2 today! I am thankful for a roof over my head, and a loving husband. I asked Callan what he was thankful for and he said for his beautiful wife aubrie. Awwww... And for our home. I think this will be a fun tradition! :) I'm excited!

Callan joined the Navy this year. Its so exciting! And sooo scary( for me)! He is leaving March 13 2012.
Hes going to be a Hospital Corpsman. Which is a medic. He wants to sign up for fleet. Which would be with the Marines. They don't have their own medics, so they borrow them from the Navy. But, he would be working with the Marines. It will be a 6 year commitment! Its going to be a great opportunity for our little family. Which consists of Me, Callan and our puppies Thor and Luna. We want babies, so someday soon we will get busy at making some. We are both looking forward to the future, and all the good, and bad (hopefully not) experiences it will bring! Callan and I have been away from each other a total of 23 days our entire relationship, so this will be a good time for us to grow, and miss each other like crazy! I am proud to be a Navy wife! My new motto. I forget I have a blog. Haha Well, I am in love with that saying! "The best is yet to be...."
It holds true for good times and bad. I love it! Life has been interesting. Kind of boring, and SLOW! Callan leaves for the Navy on March 13. Life is just on hold until then. He just got a new job, well... another job at Hollister Co. Crazy kid! He just does whatever he can to make me happy. He supports me in every decision I make. I can't imagine what I did to deserve such a perfect mate! I think I just got lucky. We have been together for 21 months today. That is a year and 9 months. Haha I know its not THAT long. But, time has gone by so fast! It feels like so much longer. I'm wondering if I knew him in a past life? Probably. I love my husband with all I gots! He is my other half, my best friend, and every other cheesy cliche you can think of. I am happy that I am a Mrs. It makes life more meaningful.
