Lilly Pads

Today Archer and mommy had a date!
We heard about this World famous Lilly pad garden and wanted to go check it out! So off we went!'
It was really pretty, although I did think there would be an information center and a gift shop, but that would require TexAss so be cool and have a little bit of class....
Even though it wasn't as cool or as big as I was expecting, it was still fun to walk around the ponds and look at all the Lilly Pads. There were dozens of different kinds and all in the middle of nowheresville West Texas.

Archer wanted to get in the water...Sorry dude!

We also found a street named ARCHER! And of course we just had to stop and take a picture... what kind of mom would I be if I didn't get the proof of my kids awesomeness? I remember when I was little there was a street called Lynn Blvd. (my middle name is Lynn) and no joke, I thought I was famous... And you know the Crystal Inns? On the sign the I is in cursive, and I always thought it was an L. and I remember asking my dad if we get paid to let them use my name. Think how disappointed I was when I learned cursive.

Anyways, I had such a wonderful day with my little love. He has gotten so funny lately! He cracks me up. Until next time...

Been A while

So we arrived in Texas sweet and sound.
It is utterly amazing to have my family back together. I love getting to be with my hubby every single day. And Archer is so happy to have his daddy. But guess what? He only wants his "MAMA!" Haha silly boy. I am not allowed to go anywhere without him. But only daddy gets to hold him... Hes just too much sometimes. My silly little bubs.

San Angelo isn't too bad. That's a lie... San Angelo is awful! I can't wait till August when we go to our first duty station back east. We will be 30 minutes from DC and a mere 3 hours from NYC! I am so very excited. It is gorgeous, and a lot cooler than tex-ASS. But there is humidity...and can I be any further away from thee family without leaving the country? Nope...we cant!

But they are already talking of coming out for Christmas. So that is goodnewsbears.

There isn't really much to update. I have fallen into the same routine of laundry, fixing dinner, cleaning, daily walks with Archer, etc etc.... Its great fun.

I really don't mind it haha. I just want to get to our new home that is semi-permanent. At least longer than 3 months haha.
I haven't really decorated or anything, just because I don't see the point in getting too comfortable when we will just be packing everything up in a few weeks (August 01 to be exact)
We don't have to report till September, but I kind of want to get there.

I don't know, I guess we will just have to wait and see. I need to learn to live in the moment. Enjoy the things in front of me rather than live for the future. I struggle with that.

Anyways. I have just discovered Fringe. Callan and I watch an episode or 2 a day. It is quite possibly my new favorite show. And thank you for Netflix!!!

Speaking of shows... our episode aired and it was pretty dang great! I loved getting to see all of our hard work. It was really well put together and brought back a lot of great memories.
So if you get a chance to check it out let us know what you think.

Well, like I said there is honestly not much to update. I do however, have plenty of pictures to upload of my last few days in ARIZONA. And a handful of the new digs.
So sorry for the lack of pizzaz I generally try to provide my posts with.

Until next time.....
